Our free online Plant Database has now been withdrawn from the website.

This is rather a shame as it’s always been very popular, but the time has come when we need to rationalize our resources.

If circumstances change in the future then it may be reviewed and possibly re-implemented. However, for the time being removing the online section makes a considerable saving on website support.

Since several years we no longer operate as a business. Any funds received help with costs involved in maintaining the software, but remaining overheads and the website are at personal expense.

A reminder: – all the information in the online database is still available in our software products. That includes the Android app which was recently made completely free. The greatest functionality is from the “desktop” programs. A licence for the Windows and Mac editions can be purchased at a small cost of £25, while Linux users can try it free on request by email.
