Extra Keys: Editions and Downloads

Extra Keys and Extra Keys Pro for MS Windows requires Windows XP or later and are available as 32-bit and 64-bit executables.

Extra Keys Pro X will run on most common, currently supported Linux distributions. Requires Xorg (X11) display management.

The programs are a fully portable and self-contained. The Windows install files are for convenience only, giving simple conventional installation with launch menu and icon. However, the programs can be copied and run from anywhere, including removable media, they may be directly extracted from the ZIP file.

All editions are free to use for any purpose.

Windows install file for Extra Keys version 3.0.1 32-bit (648Kb) for Win XP, Vista, Win7, Win8, Win10, runs on 32-bit and 64-bit systems

ZIP file (2.30Mb) for those who prefer not to use the installer. Includes all editions Extra Keys and Extra Keys Pro, both 32-bit and 64-bit.

Linux tar.gz archive (1.37Mb) Extra Keys Pro X, version 3.0.0. Includes both 32-bit and 64-bit executables for Linux.

Instructions:

Download file via the links above.
Save the file to any convenient location on your hard disk.
Locate the downloaded setup file with the File Explorer and run it (accept security check, publisher Unknown is normal).
Follow the on-screen instructions.

For the ZIP file - just extract the appropriate file wherever you wish.
